About Me

Hi, I'm Zoë

I live by the sea in Folkestone with my husband Rob and our two cats, Flo and Pablo (who are very much the heart and soul of our home).

For over a decade I’ve worked as a print designer, building a life around colour, pattern and making things. Creativity has always been there for me, from making birthday cards as a little kid, to designing prints sold to fashion brands around the world.

Outside of the studio, the things I love most are the simplest.

Slow mornings by the sea.
Running along the coast.
Cold dips when I need to clear my head.
Getting the paints out.
Friends around a table full of food.

Through harder chapters in my life, going through breast cancer at 29, and more recently navigating grief after losing my dad, I’ve found myself returning to those same things again and again.

Creativity. Nature. Good company.

The little things.

They’ve helped me slow down, feel calmer, and find little pieces of joy when life has felt heavy.

And somewhere in all of that, a small idea started to grow:

What if creativity and community could live in the same space?

What if making things together could help people feel a little lighter?

That question became Make Time.

A place to come, take a breath, and spend a bit of time doing something for yourself.

Because to me, creativity isn’t just about making art,  it’s curiosity, playfulness, and making things simply for the joy of making.

Not because it has to be productive. Not because it has to be good. But because the process itself can help us feel more alive.
